If you aren't familiar with this area of Chicago, this neighborhood is packed with great restaurants and pubs.
Can't beat Edzo's for a burger, fries and shake or Aquitane for fine dining
Parking is free along parts of Webster and along Oz park. There is also free parking at the old Children's Hospital lot, but that can be a bit creepy for evening performances. Most of the neighborhood other than above requires a 143 parking pass
Free parking at the former Children's Memorial parking garage.
Fabulous little restaurant a few doors south -- white tablecloths, delicious food, great service.

At the suggestion of a box office manager, we ate at the Rickshaw, which is a couple of blocks away and serves Indonesian food. The food was great and the decor was lovely.
The weather was freesing cold. I wore bundled up. They had a coat rack on the way in so no problem with space int he seats.
We ate at Simply It, a few doors down from the theater. Excellent food and it's BYOB.
Free parking at a garage a block away. The Lion Pub next door a good pre or after show place.
