One of our favorite places to eat is the mezzanine floor of Water Tower. There are, of course, numerous restaurants around the corner of Rush and State, but we really like the buffet (by the ounce) at Water Tower.

Table 52 is just up the street for an excellent sunday brunch before going to this show.
The Importance of Being Earnest
Excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The theater seating is very comfortable and the temperature was also. Metered street parking was available and there are two parking lots available for a significant discount.
Enjoyed a gr8 pizza at Edwardo's after the play. Indoor or outdoor seating available.
Parking in this neighborhood is a bit tricky - depending on length of performance street parking is available but advocate taking the L if possible. Parked at the Newberry Plaza garage around the corner and it worked out fine as there were 3 of us and the Ruth Page Center has validated parking there.
Both fast food and expensive sit-down restaurants very close to theatre.
Candy and snacks are available but there is no intermission during the 90-minute performance.
