Valet parking at the door only $12. Definitely worth it. Starts a bit before one hour prior to showtime
Get there early and eat across the street at KUBO, a Fillipino restaurant. Crabcakes and the "BBQ"pork on a stick are FABULOUS!!!! The guacamole is excellent also. Made a nice little "lunch" for us before the Sunday Matinee.
Seats are fairly uncomfortable at this theatre. Pretty much glorified folding chairs.
Kubo's Restaurant (across the street from Stage 773) is a great place to dine before or after the show.
Dinner at Fahlstrom's Restaurant and Fish Market was very good. Everybody enjoyed their entree. The scallops and key lime pie were delicious.
I wore theater gets cool by mid performance. Have a scarf, shawl, and or warm sweater for comfortable layer dressing..
metered street parking available, Valet parking at the theater available
The weather was sunny & hot. I wore sport shirt and jeans.
Cooper's, which was across the street from Stage 773 has closed. Kubo has opened in the space, Asian/Fusion. Food and drinks were good, prices reasonable.
There's a basic bar. If you want a Manhattan or a martini, bring your own vermouth.
After the show, Stevenson greets the audience outside, by the merch table. I bought one of the cds, which contains a few songs from this show, and some from other shows he's done. Nothing you haven't heard before, but for 15 bucks buy one, if only to encourage the him.
Fahlstrom's Fish worth an early arrival to catch a quick bite and/or for dinner - it's a can't miss!
