If you walk east of Gate 3 there is an Atrium entrance. Once you enter, there are various sponsored activities which are fun and free of charge. You'll also find the statue of Michael Jordan there and if you need tickets, you can visit the box office. Entry to the United Center is available.

If you are going to park in the lots, bring cash because you can't use credit cards. There is however, an ATM in the lot on Damen just west of the United Center. The lot is $4 cheaper than the lots adjacent to the stadium and it is well lit.

I spoke to an attendant, while walking my 2 year old around because she got bored. The show doesn't occupy the interest of kids under 4 very long.

Make sure to look at your ticket so you know which gate to enter and park near that gate. It was cold and I was glad I paid attention to which gate to enter.

Go early for little ones pre-show entertainment. Don't pay full price for souvenirs. Buy from vendors walking around not in concourse at tables. Spinning flashlight was first quoted at $21 and when I said no he dropped it to $10!

The food stuff and toys are very expensive, so if you can bring goodies to nibble on, and perhaps one of the kids small toys!
