The weather was nice but a little rainy. there is meter parking across the street a ways. A little walking but not much.. I wore a sundress with some detailing along with heels. heels definitely not needed at this place but I'm just fancy like that lol. He wore a button down and jeans with casual shoes..

Casual dress was fine. No food but a few places to eat in walking distance. We walked down to Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant at 4806 N Broadway. After seeing three roaches crawl up the wall right next to our table while eating, I seriously recommend you avoid. I showed them to staff and I got the feeling they were not surprised or disgusted. They gave us 30% off the check without us asking for anything. Of course we didn't even bother to eat the rest of our meal after seeing those roaches. If they come out like that in the light and noise of the dining area then you know the place is loaded with them. Disgusting!

We got there quiet early and watched part of the show that was on before ours. Nice added benefit!

They don't serve any kind of food at Uptown Underground place, and the drinks are pretty expensive.
