They would sell more snacks and wine if it were not so overpriced. On a hot day they were very thoughtful to give people glasses of ice water.
Interesting, new venue. Full-service bar--you can order drinks to have ready for intermission or have them during the show. Armchair seating. Street parking.
The Explorers Club
There is a swanky bar in the lobby that is open before the show, during intermission, and after the show; and a bar onstage open before and after the show!
The Explorers Club
drinks available to purchase. Lots of restaurants in the area. We ate at the bar & grill on the corner, great food & service was good.
The weather was slightly windy and cold. I wore a polyester top and jeans. It was a little cold in the theatre but once it filled up it got warmer..
They have appetizers and a full bar. You can enjoy it while watching the show.
They offer a subscription for all four shows at a discount.
You can get $10 off the next show if you buy on the same night.
Very interesting wine & beer list, and a cocktail Mixologist!
Fairly long lines form to get a drink at intermission. They have the option available to order your drink beforehand from some of the seats in the theater, but this did not seem to help. This was mentioned in the beginning but it was difficult to hear the woman doing the announcement because she spoke facing towards only one side of the theater (not ours).
Street parking is free on Irving Park Road on Sunday evenings. Otherwise, metered parking or free parking on the side streets.
Had the Wednesday something which was delicious. I was amazed with the wine and beer selections along with the option to purchase a bottle of wine. Made the mistake of ordering a pizza afterward at Tano's pizzeria for convenience. I can't stand spending money on crappy food when there are so many options in Chicago.
