Do not park in the public parking lot 3 blocks south of the theatre; they charge $5 per half hour!
I wore a sweater and jeans. .
Definitely arrive early. Parking on the street is free after 6pm, however it's scarce, so arrive early. Supposedly there's a lot nearby, but couldn't find it. After we parked we did notice valet parking for a good price.
Be sure to get your ticket validated if you park in the garage nearby!! We didn't know but the attendant helped us out. Would have been $30 otherwise.
Arrive early for dinner...there's several yummy options or get a coffee next door or visit the candy shop nearby.
We found free parking at a metered spot not far from the theater. The metered parking is free after 6 pm.
We dined at Vigilucci's before the show. They have a great Happy Hour menu, and if you sit at the bar you get a free charcuterie plate. The meatballs are not to be missed. Our entire check for three drinks and the appetizers was under $25.
