The weather was Rainy - but indoors. I wore It is cold there - so dress warm. it's more fun to be very festive and wear something from the era if possible..
It cost $12 to park the car in the lot. I think next time, I will find parking in the neighborhood.
Great Dickens Christmas Fair
There are plenty of food options, including those for vegetarians (Hi, there!). But if you want to partake of the High Tea at Cuthbert's, book it early or upon your arrival. It fills fast. It's delightful, with unexpected entertainments - and you get to take a souvenir teapot home!
BART to the Glen Park stop, then take the free Dickens Fair shuttle straight to the Cow Palace. There's plenty of parking if you prefer to drive.
The weather was irrelevant, except for traveling to this indoor event.. I wore "themed" attire! Victorian-wear or steampunk garb are both welcomed, although one does not have to "dress" to feel welcome at the party!.
The weather was HOT. I wore ladies wear a skirt, men wear something nice, it adds more to the experience when you dress the time period a bit.
