The restaurant at Old Log is very nice, called Cast and Cru. Can be expensive, but there are cheaper selections.

The attached restaurant, Cast and Cru, is gorgeous! It is also very high priced with limited choices. We didn't eat there because my daughter, who is 19, didn't see anything on the menu she liked (we looked at the menu on-line before we went). We ended up eating at Suburban in Excelsior which has something for everyone. Great option for a family, especially if you're going pre-theater before the bar really picks up.

Make sure you make reservations, go early and enjoy a leisurely, delicious dining experience. Although eating at the bar is equally fun, the seating at the bar is limited.

Our group visited with the cast in the lobby after the show and then the cast and our group went into the dining room for the adjoining restaurant for drinks and coffee and dessert which were made by a special pastry chef and were great.

It's out West on Hwy. 7 with excellent signage telling you where to turn. Large, very large parking lot.

The weather was warm spring evening. I wore Dress slacks, dress shirt and sweater. Most people wore what I would call dress casual. No shorts or tee shirts. Some men wore sport jackets..

The Old Log Theatre has a very good restaurant with a full bar, we had a light meal with coffee before the play.

Share anything else here. Just start typing...The weather was very cold so dress appropriately for the weather. I had on a jacket with long pants and was comfortable.

Or, add your own...food is more breakfast type food or no regular full meal on menu and a bar is convenient if you care to have drinks with your meal

Plenty of free parking in their lot. Also, the theater is located in a very nice setting.

The theater has what appears to be a very nice restaurant (with gluten free options) on site.

If you don't eat at the Log Theatre, the Minnetonka General Store is a fun stop for the ladies.
