The weather was sunny with a light breeze. I wore jeans, light jacket and tennis shoes. You will be trekking through bark and wood chips so I would not recommend sandals/flip flops! .

I did not see this when I bought my tickets but they do offer a BBQ Dinner! They also have a small concession stand, but they didn't seem to mind other people bringing in bottled water and small snacks.

Bring bug spray. As it got cooler some bugs came out and bothered some people yet left others alone. If you are the ones they like to feast on then you'll need. They do sell it on site if you forget.

Please remember most of the people who were assisting with tickets, information, concessions. shuttle, etc... are volunteers. Practice patience and enjoy! We heard a lot of grumbling because the shuttle wasn't there or the show was late. What's the rush?! It was so annoying! slow down, enjoy your surroundings and get to know your neighbors!

If one needs assistance of any kind do not walk the trail to the seats, take the shuttle. I walked it with a cane and wished I took the shuttle instead. There was a man ahead of us who fell and needed help getting up and led down the rest of the way to the seats. Safety first! * Please note on the day we went the "shutle", were private cars and only could take a few guests at a time. Relax they won't start the day without you and the shuttles are fast!

They do supply cushions but after a bit I got fidgety and they just weren't enough for this full figured girl. ;) Bring a nice thick cushion to sit on your backside will thank you! The benches have back support so that part was comfy to me I just needed to bring a thicker cushion!
