We love Sunday shows because we can have a light meal, appetizers and a beverage or two before the 6pm show at one of the many restaurants across the train tracks. Kentro is yummy as is El Amerikano, best spicy margarita :-)

Sunday 6pm performance allows for an early dinner/happy hour at some of the restaurants north of the train tracks...we ate at Kentro Greek Kitchen and it was a peaceful and yummy experience.

Right across the railroad tracks is Downtown Fullerton. Many fabulous restaurants within walking distance. We ate at the Greek place, left my car parked in that lot then just walked over the bridge to the theater. So convenient.

Park next to The Maverick Theatre and walk across the bridge over the train tracks to one of the restaurants near Commonwealth Ave. I suggest Hopscotch, Kentro or El Amerikano. Can't go wrong at any of these spots :)

Parking: Immediately in front of the theater there are a few parking spaces, along with 3 handicap spots. More parking is available in the street and alongside the train area--it's free parking and only a couple of minutes' walk to the theater. Very convenient!

I enjoyed a glass of wine during the performance. Its so convenient to have a bar next to the seating area. I would just recommend glass stemware (wine just tastes so much better ).

The theater is a little tricky to find. Go west on Walnut off of Lemon Avenue and follow it up the hill around the curve to the left. You can't access Walnut from Harbor Blvd.

Get there early since seating is first come but theater is small (60-80?) so I think almost every seat is good. Limited parking right out front of theater.
