About Cirque Italia at Montgomery County Agricultural Fairgrounds
The Montgomery County Agricultural Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg have hosted everything from the annual county fair to company picnics, car shows and big-top circuses. Along with plenty of wide-open grassy areas, the fairgrounds also offer livestock barns, covered pavilions, a horse arena and grandstand. The agricultural center itself was established in 1949, when 64 acres of land were purchased from farmer Herman Rabbitt, resulting in an old-fashioned barn raising and construction of 12 other buildings. It takes a network of more than 2,000 volunteers to maintain the operation.
Please plan to arrive at least one hour early to allow for parking, will-call lines, and general admission access to seats. The venue is climate controlled. Dress according to weather conditions outside the venue. Tickets will be required for patrons age 2 and older.
