Most full day trips last approximately 4 to 6 hours. Please do not bring rope, towables, styrofoam coolers or cooking implements (including barbecues of any kind). Please do not wear jeans on the water. Shoes are required. You will be required to sign a release before getting on the water. You should be in good physical condition for this activity. The rental period ends at 5:00pm with a 30 minute grace period. Late returns may be charged a $50 late fee. Returns after 7pm will be charged a $100 late fee. If you abandon your boat on the river for any reason, there will be a $150 recovery fee per canoe.

It helps if someone in your group has at least some boating experience. Mainly easy paddling, but a few rough spots.

The weather was Sunny and hot. I wore Tennis shoes, bathing suit and covered it with dry wear.

Bring plenty of food since it does require allot of upper body strength to get thru the full day trip of nine miles. apply screen several times thoughout the day.

The weather was a bit chilly in the am but warmed up nicely.. I wore shorts and top with bathing suit underneath. Remember a hat, watershoes and sunscreen.
