If you're going to park at the Dolby Theatre - get your parking validated before the show. The theatre doesn't validate and our show was so late that all the shops were closed when the show got out.
Take advantage of public Transportation! Park at Universal and take the subway. Traffic was terrible. There was something at the bowl and this made traffic a mess. And it cost $15 to park
Take the metro and get off on Hollywood/Highland. The Dolby Theater doesn't validate so if you park in the structure make sure to buy something before leaving.
There's a bar, but I'd recommend eating before or after. There are plenty of spots nearby, or around.
Huge parking garage, but you'll be spiraling around over and over to find a spot.
The weather was extremely hot and humid. I wore A Flash T-shirt and jeans..
The Dolby Theater is on Hollywood Boulevard, possibly the most congested tourist area. Too many people, too many people dressed badly as super heroes clogging the area where you want to go to look at the Stars on the Walk of Fame.
Worth it to park in structure, if possible, but we parked at Pantages and took Metro over because of road closures.
Unfortunately, outside of the CPK which is ok at this location, not much else to offer. Yelp says 2 stars for many eateries. We go to Lemonade, Cafe Gratitude or Pie
Plan for extra travel time, there is a lot of traffic. Utilize parking discounts from stores and information shop.
The weather was drizzily. I wore dark jeans, black shirt and purple sweater.
Park at Hollywood and Highland and get it validated at Beard Papas or one of the shops!
We paid 20.00 to park...there were less expensive but this parking was closest to The Dolby theater so worth the money.
Lot's of wonderful food within walking distance from the Dolby Theater.
