If you can, avoid parking at the lot near the theatre, do so...not only is it $20, your car sits out on the sun! You can park across the street, at the Hollywood & Highland structure, with ample space and shaded underground parking for only $13. Then you just cross the street
Sit downstairs, the snow did was not do much to enhance the experience upstairs.
The parking closest to the venue is a jaw-dropping $20. You can park across the street (near the Chinese Theater) for half the price.
If your kids sleep early, watch earlier shows.

Park at the Hollywood & Highland mall and get validation at the theater. Parking comes out to $2.
If you park off of Hollywood Blvd Parkin is less expensive, but you need to ads walk time about 5 min walk, and public transportation us very convenient and runs continually.
There are an enormous number of attractions right outside the theater door, do once your movie is over you cash still enjoy the rest of the day on the same Blvd.
Theater is extremely dark, once show starts floor lights are only lit and they are very dim, arrive early for safety and seating issues.
