Park and Ride was sold out at all venues for the Morrison concert. I called the Bowl box office to see whether we could take a chance and go stand-by. Park and Ride ticket sales ended at 10am the day before the concert.

Parking. Took the shuttle from Hollywood and Highland (at Orange Court). Parking was $15. paid in machine before going to car after concert. Shuttle is free with tap card/ otherwise $6 RT. The Methodist Church a couple blocks north on Franklin and Highland was charging $30 last night. (no stack) It's a long steep uphill walk to the Bowl from there if you do not walk down to Orange Court for the Shuttle. 42 seats on the shuttle, and the rest stand in the aisles. All buses were full.

Take the shuttle if you can, and if you have a Metro TAP card, the shuttle is free. Otherwise it's $6 - plan ahead and give yourself extra time ( details on HB website)

The weather was chilly. I wore sweater, light jacket, shoes and socks . If you have never been to the Bowl, expect climbing steep inclines to get to the cheap seats. .

If you take the metro and get out at Hollywood and Highland and walk up the hill you can avoid the traffic and parking at the Bowl.

The weather was warm when the sun was out. Once the sun goes down, the temp drops.. I wore good walking shoes and a light jacket. Also had stadium seats that fold out into a blanket. Used it through the whole show because it was so cool (at least for me)..

if you take your kids like I do, I pack pj's, blankets and pillows in the car so they can sleep before you even get out of the parking lot! Share anything else here. Just start typing...

Bench Seating is NOT comfortable at The Bowl. Take/rent a cushion or pay for non-bench seats.
