I would definitely suggest bringing or renting cushioned seats due to the hard wooden bench seats at the Hollywood Bowl, especially if you have a bad back. Half way through the performance I went down to rent some and they were all rented out, so pick them up as soon as you get there or bring your own.

Food there at the Hollywood Bowl was ok but very expensive. You can bring your own.

The Shuttle is the only way to go. No hassle. Parking would be a nightmare.

We take one of the Park and Ride buses. It helps reduce the stress of driving and parking. Plus it is less expensive that driving and parking.

Pack your own dinner/snacks! We didn't know we had box seats and a table was there for us to use! Goldstar should have told us that! Signage for parking should say permit parkers then a sign for regular. Cops VERY nice and patient,

The weather was warm then chilly. I wore nice jeans and blouse with a sweater for later. We also used a snuggly blanket during the show. It got chilly..

Make sure to review the policy statement on your ticket. This concert did not allow wine or bottles to be brought in, which is unusual for the bowl. Save yourself the forfeiture of a good bottle of wine.

Take the park and ride shuttles--convenient and stress-free. Go to their website. Online purchase is only 7 dollars and you get to board ahead of those paying cash at the park and ride sites (12 dollars)

Gershwin Lover with a row at the front of a section decorated the rail with strings of blue star lights. Must do this next time - charming!

Bring your own food. And PLEASE be aware that for WHATEVER SELFISH, GREEDY reasons, lead events will NOT permit you to bring in your own wine, instead charging ASTRONOMICALLY RIDICULOUS PRICES!!!!!!!!!! Concert promoters are even worse than used car dealers: EXTREMELY GREEDY!!!!!!!
