The weather was sunny. I wore casual tee with jeans. It was actually kinda hot outside.
Don't bring a picnic blanket. Not necessary. Not that many things to buy at the concession so bring your own food and wine
Casual format. They've got a small outdoor patio with heat lamps and a foosball table in back. Snack bar too, for intermission goodies.
We went to Franco's which is a great Italian restaurant on Melrose about half a mile away. We parked our car in the street near the restaurant and then walked to comedysportz from there.
There are a couple restaurants that are on the same street that are very good and reasonably priced for a sit down dinner. The details for these are on the Comedysportz website. There are many kinds of drinks (glass bottled sodas especially) and snacks available to buy at intermission, but no meals available for purchase. I do not know their policy on bringing in outside food.
Parking is on the street in front of the venue, but only on one side of the street (on the side of the venue) so if you want a spot get there a little earlier, otherwise you might have to park down the street or a block away.
There's not much seating in the lobby, so go around back to the patio. Heaters are available. Just ask someone to turn them on.
Street parking....get there a little early and enjoy the backyard patio and the treats they sell!
They didn't let us in until almost start time, so getting there 30 mins early didn't matter.
Snack concession priced about like movie theaters.
Great fun for families looking for something different to do.
