About Cullen Performance Hall
Cullen Performance Hall — located on the campus of the University of Houston in Houston, Texas — is a hub for concerts, lectures, comedy and more. The hall, which is the eastern half of the E. Cullen Administration Building, was named in honor of Ezekiel W. Cullen, a former congressman for the Republic of Texas. Opening in 1950, the facility was designed by Alfred C. Finn. The facility seats 1,612, and hosts music, opera, dance, theatrical events and public lectures. Rock veterans, globetrotting international pop stars and Comedy Central headliners have all set up on the Cullen stage.
