About Prohibition Theatre
Prohibition Supperclub & Bar holds a special place in Houston history: Originally built in 1912, it was once the Isis Theatre, the city’s first silent theater. Prohibition’s new theater pays tribute to its origins, retaining many of the original artifacts and wall plasters dating back to 1912. The 5,000-square-foot theater is a juxtaposition of old and new, with its serpentine staircase, art deco carpet, semi-private mezzanine and grand stage. As the Houston Chronicle writes, Prohibition Theatre “redefines Houston dinner theater.”
Athletic wear, tennis shoes, excessively baggy clothing, and baseball caps will not be permitted in the theater regardless of ticket purchase. Photography is not permitted in the theater. You must be age 21 or older to attend.
