The weather was very very warm. Make sure you hydrate. It is also super dusty. . I wore Jeans (consider shorts, depending on the time of day you go), and WEAR COMFORTABLE WALKING SHOES). .
FYI - as in the 15th century there was no pavement. As a heads up expect shoes, socks and feet with open toe shoes or sandals to get dusty. Don't wash your car until after the fair! Bring along some Ziplock bags to take home some goodies to eat. Bring enough cash. ATMs are available, but there are fees for use. Average cost for food items is about $10+ . Consider bringing your own water as it costs about $3-$4 for a bottle at the faire. A hat and sunscreen are helpful. Also bring snacks (fruit, granola/protein bars, trail mix, etc.) to hold you over until you're ready to spend the bucks on bigger bites to satisfy your hunger.
The weather was Sunny and hot at times.
$10 for general parking and $30 for valet.
