The weather was HOT. I wore a full costume, which meant pants, long-sleeved shirt, painted body parts, hood, mask, and layers. It was a little cooler inside, but it was still hot. Costumes are definitely recommended, but I advise against wearing tight clothes or costuming. Go for something loose..

We usually eat at Rock Bottom Brewery which is just couple blocks from the convention center. It's quality food and there usually isn't too long a wait. They offer pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads.
PARKING - The cost for parking starts at $15.00 at the lots. BUT, no one was at the entrance to our parking, so we parked for FREE. I think the secret is going there around 4:30 PM like we did because the festival ends at 7:00 PM and they seem like they really didn't care who got into the festival.
