The seating is rather cramped. We moved up out of our row after intermission so we could stretch our legs during the rest of the show.
The weather was cool and breezy our night. I wore long pants, long sweater shawl..

If you have access to the METRO try it. It lets you off practically in front of the Music Center, allows a very brielf walk and saves you at least $7.00 for parking.
Come early enough to at Bottega Luis on 7th Grand. Theater restaurant is very expensive and menu is somewhat mundane.
we are at Master Chef...great food & service, they're open til 1AM : )
We prefer attending matinees, and after the performance, enjoy a 20 or so minute drive to South Pasadena and Pasadena, where there are many fine restaurants. We get there just when the restaurant is opening...perfect timing. Downtown Los Angeles has many good restaurants as well, but most aren't open for dinner at the time when the performance ends. The drive to another venue solves this problem.
The weather was a nice warm evening.. I wore maxi skirt, leather bootie shoes, lace blouse with nice short lightweight coat. (coat not needed inside).
Bottega Louie, downtown Los Angeles, five minutes away. Aside from a bit noisy due to acoustics of the restaurant, excellent food, a little pricey, nice ambiance. Brushetta, clam linguini, hearty lasagna all a delight! Perfect service!
Traffic can be bad going downtown and it takes some time to park in the Music Center so give yourself a lot of time.
If you have time, there is a little parking on the street, but you would have to search for it. parking in the garage off Grand is 9.00 and very convenient.
Parking at the Music Center is $9.00 ....OK
Went to Alexander's Brasserie below the Pavillion. Expected very slow service due to reviews of others and a caution on their website re: allow 2 hrs before a performance. We got there at 545PM for the show at 8PM and were done at 7PM. Long wait for the show.
Had a nice steak dinner at Riordan's Tavern before the show - $2 parking across the street from the restaurant (adjacent to the Original Pantry).
