You can park under the building for only $9, very convenient and easy; escalators take you up to the venue. We found a Mexican food stand that had great choices, reasonably priced. Beautiful night, great food, great parking, great show!

Arrive extra early as the will call line is VERY long. We arrived at 7:20 and made it in to the theater at 8:05. The musical started a lttle late so we didn't miss anything. I imagine they started late because there was so many people in the will call line.
Try parking across the street where Jurors usually park during the day. It's $9 as well but your in and out--no waiting when the show is over.

eating at Vespaio next door to the Broad Museum was convenient and delicious. 6pm seating for 8pm show left plenty of time to get to our seats at the Ahmanson

Leaving th venue is easy iif you take your time and get to your car about 20min after the curtain rings down. Take a walk around the music center! You'll find the garage virtually empty.

Don't try to park on the street near the theatre. There is plenty of parking garages, we paid 10.00, but only after getting a ticket....ouch, but at least we didn't get towed. Applies even for handicapped.

We parked underneath the theaters and ate at Kendell's. Good food at a reasonable price.

Very limited street parking and places to eat so come prepared to pay for parking and fed.

They changed Patina Restaurant in the courtyard. They made it smaller and changed to a price fixed menu. We arrived 1 1/2 hrs. early and couldn't get in. The taco bar was closed. We couldn't get into another restaurant and ended up getting a sandwich from the fast food kiosk.

Consider bringing binoculars so you can see the actor's faces when they act. It's truly memorizing to see the emotions that run in their faces when simply acting.

Food is allowed but my mostly snacks and drinks. The food at the café is a bit pricey so consider dining out unless you're just having fun then don't worry about it!

The food was okay but a bit expensive. I would recommend you look up a happy hour within a 10-15 minute radius. There are many options on Hope Street.
