We parked underneath the theaters and ate at Kendell's. Good food at a reasonable price.

Very limited street parking and places to eat so come prepared to pay for parking and fed.

They changed Patina Restaurant in the courtyard. They made it smaller and changed to a price fixed menu. We arrived 1 1/2 hrs. early and couldn't get in. The taco bar was closed. We couldn't get into another restaurant and ended up getting a sandwich from the fast food kiosk.

Consider bringing binoculars so you can see the actor's faces when they act. It's truly memorizing to see the emotions that run in their faces when simply acting.

Food is allowed but my mostly snacks and drinks. The food at the café is a bit pricey so consider dining out unless you're just having fun then don't worry about it!

The food was okay but a bit expensive. I would recommend you look up a happy hour within a 10-15 minute radius. There are many options on Hope Street.

If you are fortunate enough to live near the 92 take the 92 bus because it literally lets you off right outside the theater and for a matinee, you're able to catch the bus right outside. Total cost: $4.50 for public transit, saved money possibly on parking, or Uber/Lyft. The garage can be a nightmare if you are the last person to get out of a show.

I'm not a vegan but the Asian vegan restaurant around the corner, Au Lac, is elegant and has wonderful food. We ate there after An Act of God and it was a revelation, even for this carnivore. I had the raw burrito: cultured beans, macadamia cheese, guacamole, heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, onion, sprouts with jalapeño puree. Light but satisfying. The charming and very zen chef anointed our wrists with a fragrant oil he concocted himself as we left. Great serve and an easy walk, at Hope and First.

Grand Central Market is just a short walk. Baby Blue BBQ is even closer with music at night.

$9 parking in the underground garage, but you can also take the Metro Red Line, which stops just a few blocks away.

We went to a matinee and bought lunch on the Plaza. Not inexpensive, but tasty and convenient.

Traffic on 101 getting there was HORRIBLE, it took us 2 1/2 hours bumper to bumper the whole way. Made mistake of merging on to 110 and got off at 4th. Next time we will stay on 101 and get off at Temple.
