830 Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Tips
Parked right at the venue. No issues. Very convenient. $9 rate. Ate at the venue. Expensive but was great watching celebs walking by as we ate.
There are restaurants all around the Music Center for a nice sit down meal. There is also food available on the plaza itself. In the theatre there is a bar with snacks available. Food and drink are expensive.
parking is plentiful but somewhat expensive. However, the parking structure does start to fill quickly so you can be directed quite a distance and have to navigate stairs, escalators, or elevators or a combination of the three. Always note where you are parked so you can find your space afterward, keep your parking ticket handy (some exits require it) and give yourself lots of time!! If you are late to a ballet, they will most likely not allow to you be seated until the first intermission.
The weather was warm.. I wore dress and heels. It's fun to dress up for the ballet, it's a great opportunity for a little princess fantasy. .

Ate lunch nearby at The Grand Central Market and walked over to Music Center having taken the train downtown.
I prefer to park outside of Disney Hall- across the street from it. Music Center parking forces you to loop down endless levels.
I wore casual dressy. No shorts or jeans.
The weather was sunny.. I wore a suit.. Was surprised to see men dressed in blue jeans and tennis shoes. Are they saving their good clothes to buried in?.
We had lunch at the Pinot Grill, right on the plaza. It's very convenient and the food is decent, if a bit pricey. Lunch for 4 came to $180.
The closer you arrive to the concert time, the farther away you have to park as the lot fills up so you need to rush to get there on time.

Take the metro if you can. It beats the horrible traffic and parking.
Enjoyed a French restaurant after the matinee called Traix over on Sunset not 5-10 minutes from the Dorothy Chandler. The food was good!
