56 Grand Chapiteau at Port of Los Angeles, San Pedro Tips
The weather was Just fine obviously it was on the water so it would be a colder but I wore a light sweater and no issues, inside the venue I wasn't to hot or cold with a light sweater very comfortable. I wore A sweater, jeans, and cute boots.
Cirque du Soleil: TOTEM
The weather was Windy. I wore a sweater with a dress shirt and kakais.
Tickets are sold by sections. There are some that are obviously closer to the stage, but it's a round stage and not a huge auditorium. Let's face it, it's a traveling show in a tent. There is no bad seat in reality. Don't pay extra for the "best" section unless you feel compelled.
The weather was COLD & WINDY. I wore PANTS BUT SHOULD HAVE WORN A SWEATER & VERY COMFORTABLE SHOES..
Think Cafe (not Think Prime), Ports O' Call restaurant, Blue Lagoon, are mid-level priced nice places to have dinner before the show in San Pedro.
Departing venue after the show takes time. Allow for jammed lot and slow traffic afterwards. Popcorn $7.00. They offer a deal, soda, popcorn and a candy bar for $15.00.
Warning: you can't park outside the area and walk in to save the $10 parking fee. If you do, afterward the valets block you in and demand the $10, saying that Cirque rented out the entire pier, even those spaces that are not inside their fences. Peculiar and irritating. They should post signs saying as much. Save people from walking long distances to try to avoid the parking fees.
Recommended if you have a few hours to kill before the show: Stop at the Whale and Ale for lunch or dinner afterwards. They are a local favorite and everything is very fresh. This is on 7th street. Also, along the way to berth 46 where the show is, stop at "Crafted". This is a large warehouse on 22nd (you will be going in that direction to get to the show). There is a lot of cool art, jewelry, crafts, etc.. They are open on weekends until 8pm. We had a full day!
Don't worry about getting the more expensive seats. The venue is so intimate that all seats are good.

10 minutes north on PCH are plenty of nice places to eat in Torrence. Beers and wine are $9 in the tent!
Be careful where you park. They flagged us in to a parking lot that was located in the south 40 (far away). Then, as we got closer we noticed they were still ushering in cars right in front of the tent for the same price that we were charged.
Parking is close and convenient. But be prepared for the exiting mess after the show. It was not organized and became a free for all.
Eat at the 22nd Street Landing Seafood Grill and Bar. The food was good and reasonably priced. And, it is right down the street from the venue
there is nowhere to eat before the show once you park. there was the usual circus fare to eat and lots of booze if you are a drinker.
The weather was cool. I wore jeans and boots - not worth dressing up for at this venue it was in the bigtop..
I wore jeans boots and a sweater, its right off the pier so it does get chilly by nightfall .
