Kendall’s Brasserie right below the Dorothy Chandler on Grand Ave is a great place for dinner before the theater. Service is friendly and attentive and food is excellent.

The weather was Gloomy. I wore an absurdly colored sweater and tattered pants.

We took a Lyft and it was no trouble either way. Much easier than worrying about parking and the freeways.

We took the Red Line from No Hollywood and exited at Civic Center just before Union Station. Walked a couple of blocks and arrived at the Music Center. Beats driving.

There is a lot of construction. Roads were closed with a lot of detours. The line to get into the Music Center parking garage went around two blocks. The CTG is doing nothing to mitigate the stress.

We bought food at Panera and brought it to the outdoor tables on the plaza of the Music Center. Bring your beverages with you; I forgot and paid $4 for a small bottle of water. But it really is fun to eat outside on a warm evening.

Ate at Vespaio near the Broad, walking distance from the Music Center. Can be expensive, or not (we shared a huge salad and tasty pizza, along with apple crisp.)

After the show, we walked to a restaurant called Sugar Fish. The best sushi we've ever eaten.

My husband is in a wheelchair and the theater manager was extremely helpful finding us seats! In case you don't know, if you let Goldstar know about special needs, they will contact the venue and make sure they are aware in advance! Thanks Goldstar!
