Kendall’s Brasserie right below the Dorothy Chandler on Grand Ave is a great place for dinner before the theater. Service is friendly and attentive and food is excellent.
The weather was Gloomy. I wore an absurdly colored sweater and tattered pants.
Kendall's great for a pre show snack and drink. Almost as good as NYC!
The Mark Taper is a great theatre. There are no bad seats
Parking is reasonable

The weather was chilly but warm inside. I wore pants , sweater and coat, most people were not dressed up but dressed in casual nice..
We took a Lyft and it was no trouble either way. Much easier than worrying about parking and the freeways.
The weather was Smoky because of wildfires. I wore A dress and boots.
We took the Red Line from No Hollywood and exited at Civic Center just before Union Station. Walked a couple of blocks and arrived at the Music Center. Beats driving.
There is a lot of construction. Roads were closed with a lot of detours. The line to get into the Music Center parking garage went around two blocks. The CTG is doing nothing to mitigate the stress.
Parking in building, simple, modest cost.
The weather was perfect, sunny, mild.. I wore Nicely casual works..

We bought food at Panera and brought it to the outdoor tables on the plaza of the Music Center. Bring your beverages with you; I forgot and paid $4 for a small bottle of water. But it really is fun to eat outside on a warm evening.

Ate at Vespaio near the Broad, walking distance from the Music Center. Can be expensive, or not (we shared a huge salad and tasty pizza, along with apple crisp.)
