905 Rockwell: Table & Stage Tips
I wore levis.
For the Record: Baz Luhrmann
Don't park in their valet lot. It takes too long to exit. Park in the lot behind the bank and it cost 5.00 and you have our own keys
Come early so that you can get your food and drink order. It is much harder to flag down your waiter once the show starts.
This is one of the worst neighborhoods to park in. It's totally worth ponying up the $6 for valet, especially on the weekends.
The food is great. Drinks are a little pricey & hit or miss.
The weather was mild & a little chilly. I wore a maxi dress and flats.
Tip: If you purchase 5+ tickets through Goldstar, make sure you get there early (right when doors open). I believe they assign these seats last, so they do not always have the seats available, especially for a popular show like this one. They originally had our party at two different table. We all wanted to sit together, so they were able to move us and make-shift a table for 6, but we had to stand and wait about 20 minutes for them to do so. If we had arrived when doors opened, rather than 45min later (still 45 minutes before showtime, though), it would have been easier for them to do so.
Valet parking in back reasonable and easy. Although street parking exists.
The weather was great. Dress warm though. I wore suit and my date was made up like a 1920s flapper. She got a lot of compliments..
The food is wonderful but can be calorie intense.
The weather was warm for December. I wore dress pants - blouse and brought a jacket ..
Good selection of food, reasonably priced, large portions.
