If you are sitting on the main floor, it is sometimes hard to see. I recommend the Lodge area. Always great views.
There are lot of restaurants in the area to go out and eat. We ate at Rock Bottom Brewery, which is inexpensive. In the past we have eaten at Capitol Grill, which is expensive, but a great place to splurge for a fun night. We always get drinks upstairs at the theater....short lines.
Parking in City Parking lot right next to the State. You can take the Skyway system all the way to the theater without going outside in Winter.
I wore a Christmas Outfit...dress up....everyone else does!.
Parking for $6, right across from the Ordway, and a short walk away.
You can purchase snacks and drinks at the show. There are plenty of dining options very close to the State Theatre.
There was plenty of parking everywhere around the State Theatre in Minneapolis.
