If you are sitting on the main floor, it is sometimes hard to see. I recommend the Lodge area. Always great views.
There are lot of restaurants in the area to go out and eat. We ate at Rock Bottom Brewery, which is inexpensive. In the past we have eaten at Capitol Grill, which is expensive, but a great place to splurge for a fun night. We always get drinks upstairs at the theater....short lines.
Parking in City Parking lot right next to the State. You can take the Skyway system all the way to the theater without going outside in Winter.
I wore a Christmas Outfit...dress up....everyone else does!.
You can purchase snacks and drinks at the show. There are plenty of dining options very close to the State Theatre.
There was plenty of parking everywhere around the State Theatre in Minneapolis.
The weather was January weather. It was mild out with a slight breeze. . I wore Jeans, a sweater and dress boots..
The weather was cold.. I wore nice glitter blouse and velvet pants..
Parking for cheap at the $5 lot on 10th and Hennepin, the walk is very short
The nearby eateries were full after the matinee so a reservation is recommended.
Easy parking in the Macy's lot. Skyway to the theatre so that you need not go outside at all.
My grandson dropped them off and picked them up so no problem.
Be ready for all the 'stuff' for sale - have your wallet or prep your kids.
