The weather was sunny, windy and very cold. I wore two shirts and a fleece, but never warmed up. I needed lined gloves, mine weren't. DRESS WARMLY in the winter. .
Everything about the visit was wonderful. After the official tour of the mansion, we were on our own to take in everything else -- and after three hours the only reason we left was because we were hungry. We four adults and 2 grandchildren (ages 8 & 11) thoroughly enjoyed it, and the kids can't wait to return. I would suggest that children not be younger than 7. However, adults will enjoy the Christmas event with or without children.
The weather was wet and mild. I wore boots but they got muddy so maybe older running shoes would have been a better choice..
The weather was cold and sometimes windy. I wore Jeans, wool socks, boots, a thick sweater, a heavy coat and gloves. I wish I had a scarf and hat with me. Most of the tour is outside .
Eat before you go as there's no food to buy. If you want to eat at the restaurant next door, you should book far in advance. They were fully booked a couple of weeks before our tour.
The parking lot across the street was free. There's no public transportation so you need to drive.
The weather was Cold - you spend a lot of time outdoors, standing. I wore down coat, scarf and gloves- definitely dress warmly. .
The weather was cold, windy, rainy. I wore jeans, boots, and a hooded winter coat and carried an umbrella..
