BBKings is REALLY easy to get to if you come into the city via the Port Authority (or if you're traveling my subway..there's a major subway area within a block..after all it IS Times Square). Its almost directly across from McDonalds's and Ripley's Believe it or Not which are good spots to have 'meet ups' if you've got a gang of folks getting together to go in together! If you have extra time there's a Sanrio/Hello Kitty store right there, a Lids (for hat fans;) )..if you're in the area extra early there's a 5 Guys (Burgers...HUGE burgers and mounds of fries!), ice cream and a little place for cupcakes etc.
Though I can't eat most of the food at BBKing's (due to doctor's orders only; ( ) It always smells SO good! Esp the barbeque! My big warning would be don't get the 'baked' potato cuz its NOT (baked that is). I don't know what they do but they're hard as rocks! Nor the Mississippi Mud Pie which is more like clay. BUT try the sorbet! Its homemade and the mango is heavenly:) AND a safe bet for pretty much any dietary restrictions!
my Blue Meanies tee (of course:) )my vintage paisley long vest and black leggings with my pool water blue Converse and oh yeah...my new little black fedora with the 'winky boy w/purple background button:)
nice...had a good sunny day going in and a decent night coming out of the show
Try to arrive at least 1/2 hour earlier so you can get a good place.
Club like tight space, but being close to the performers adds to the grove
B.B.King's is right next to the subway in Times Square.
Some Family members found parking sound the corner, others took the train
