The weather was Sunny and beautiful. I wore sneakers, I saw some people in boots/heels which is a big no no, this trip was meant for outdoors experience. For women, think workout leggings, t shirts, sweaters/vests, jackets, hats. Casual event!.

If you want to eat at the Bear Mountain Inn, make a reservation to assure you a table 12: 30 would give you enough time to walk up there

The weather was beatiful, but it is cold on a boat in the autumn. I wore Winter coat, gloves, hat. Saw many who had dressed for a lovely November day - IN THE CITY. No coats, gloves etc. They looked frozen.

The boat ride had no booze prior to 12 noon, when you were already on the mountain. The mountain was STRICTLY for hiking unless you went to the 'inn' which was a little difficult to find. THERE IS NO OKTOBERFEST ON THE GROUNDS. Save your money-- go to an actual oktoberfest, this wasn't worth it.

food on the boat was over priced, not good and ran out quickly. Food at event was a madhouse-- a big line.

they say no food allowed on boat but many had backpacks full of snacks & beverages. Food at Oktoberfest is not that good...suggest you eat at the restaurant at Bear Mountain Inn on the property for the same money you'll spend on tasteless, cold Oktoberfest food.
