If you arrive early, there are lots of places to get a cup of coffee but don't eat too much as the tour has great food stops.
For a Sunday tour street parking is free on Cornelia Street, but arrive before 10 am to secure a spot. We had no trouble.

I drove in from Long island on Sunday and there was no problem parking on the street.
Or, add your own. If coming into NY for this, there's still plenty of time to do something else at night before going home. Even with a lot of Friday traffic, we got back before 4pm....
Or, add your own... Don't make early dinner reservations, you'll be too full. Had to change ours from 6:30pm to 9pm.

I took the 6th avenue bus uptown just feet from where we were dropped
I took the m20 bus to bleeker street-walked a block
It was a beautiful Sundday and traffic was fine
