The weather was cool. I wore jeans and a t-shirt.
What a fun night at the City Winery. Micha showed us the casks in the basement and gave us a sample of the Pino Noir. The band was fantastic and you couldn't get any closer. If you want a relaxing fun time this is the place. Forget concert halls. I've been here 4 times already. I have tickets for another show in 2 weeks. I'm looking to go again!
I wore a nice dress and my boyfriend wore a nice shirt and slacks.
Be firm about the table you want they tried to steer us to their so called VIP section which is not handicapped accessible and is a platform in a corner of the room with terrible sight lines. The staff was not pleasant about our requestion for a more handicapped accessible table -offering us a tqable very far from the stage at a time when the venue was empty, then offering us a table facing away from the stage from which the media part of the show could not bee seen. I was very disappointed with the treatment received as a Goldstar member and I will not return to this venue. ON the contray 54 below gave us a great table for the Barbara Cook show and the Cutting Room gave us a ring side table for Rhonda Ross
Close enough to subways.
The City Winery venue is very comfortable.
Good casual food.
