I would recommend allowing extra time at the end of the tour to just roam around and eat locally. I made my way back to the Chelsea Market and perused the market slowly... eating along the way.
The weather was a beautiful fall sunny day. I wore walking shoes and a hat. Carry as little as possible or a small backpack. .
Allow extra time: both tours that we took with CityRoverWalks were exceptional, and lasted longer than advertised.

Pizza stop was perfect, Cornish pasties not so much.
You will be walking throughout the tour so make sure you are comfortable.
Did not like the fact that there was no choice in snacks. And there was no coffee stop!
Nice touch with snacks, tied in with the history tour.
Subway was convenient to the meeting point.
Wear walking shoes and brign a light jacket for rain
The trains ar easy to get there with a short walk.
Got there early on Sunday and found street parking
Would not have done this on a really hot day
Drove and parked the car in a lot. Worked out very well.
Be courteous and interested in learning/sharing.
Layer your clothing! It was a gorgeous day, needed sunglasses but needed a sweater in the shade.
