Do not get balcony seats unless you are young thin athletic with no health conditions . I have never been so uncomfortable and anxious and they did not try to help us by letting us pay for upgrade at gold star or the window and manager reluctantly offered two out of six half blocked views at the lower level for 84 and 80 year old but nobody warned us just how bad it was and heart condition person was feeling awful the whole show with vertigo from the way the seats were so steep and cramped .
Have dinner or lunch at Cara Mia down the street on 9th Ave between 45th and 46th. Pre fix lunch at 9.99 and dinner at 19.99. Good food and great atmosphere.

the Theatre is very old and narrower than others I've been in. If you get the balcony seats, please be aware that it's a hike up a few flight of steps. If you have any health issues, these are not the seat for you.

The weather was NY Polar 2014. I wore Layers for warmth. Sparkly for celebration of music.

Balcony in Lyceum Theater is a 6 floor walk-up -no elevator. Once there, it was a party!

No elevator. A really hard climb to the balcony for someone with problems.

Don't sit in the balcony. It's too high up and you have to climb around four flights of stairs to get there. You lose the impact of the show in the nose bleed seats. Spring for mezzanine or orchestra. It's worth it.

The weather was the coldest night of the year.. I wore the warmest clothes I had. but alas the theater was so hot, I kept pulling off the sweaters, etc. Dress comfortably for outside but remember its warm inside the theater..
