841 Drury Lane Theatre Tips
The weather was Perfect. I wore a plum outfit -- soft velvet flared pants with a silk military style purple jacket with beige frog closure down the front and a mandaring collar..
You can pick up tickets an hour ahead of time. We got there an hour early so we didn't have to wait in line. We were happy to discover you can order snack food at the bar. We had the Korean spring rolls and the turkey sliders. Both were delicious and we were able to relax while waiting for admission to the show.
Bring a sweater or jacket - the theater was quite cold....too much air conditioning?
The weather was sunny and cool. I wore dressed up top and black slacks..
This is a dinner theater so many people come for dinner. My favorite thing to do is to pay for a drink for intermission and then have it waiting at a little table with my name on it and a bowl of snackies to boot.
I wore jeans, but you will see everything here from jeans to cocktail dresses..
We ate at the near by Reel Club. It was a great way to start the evening. Save room for the Mounds Bar dessert.
Parking is free and easy to access and has quite a bit of handicapped parking.
hare anything else here. Just start typing...The theater is now handicap accessible, in that it now has a small elevator that takes you up the steps that are in front of the theater and they have a row for handicapped people with walkers and wheel chairs.
I wore a sweater over dressy casual top and pants because the theater tends to be cold. Parking is free and nearby..
This comment is really for the venue itself. Perhaps Drury Lane needs to remind their guests about proper theatre etiquette. I know that Goldstar members are well aware of the proper protocol! :-) A handful of people arrived late, talked, and crackled wrappers during the performance. This is the third show I have seen at DL where the patrons seemed to think they were watching from their living rooms.
