About Trinity Episcopal Cathedral
While famously home to the “Rosales Organ,” one of the most powerful of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is also home to a tranquility that outstrips the power of any man-made instrument to awe … and to calm. Built in 1906, the Cathedral is revered for the intricacy of its carved trusses and the radiant beauty of its stained glass (from the workshop of Charles Jay Connick, who designed the phenomenal rose window at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC). But its chief attraction may be the serenity that has radiated from this Portland landmark for more than a century.
