The weather was FREEZING INSIDE to add to the atmosphere. I thought the blankets for rent in the lobby were a joke. They weren't.. I wore I was wearing wool pants, a sweater, a jacket, a long wool coat, a scarf, and gloves. I was still so cold, it ruined my enjoyment of the play. I wish I'd known to wear tights, a hat, and had realized the blankets for rent in the lobby weren't a joke. I should have wrapped myself in a couple, I bought hot coffee but none of my precautions were enough to keep me warm..

We live in Concord and only discovered this theater because goldstar offered tickets to a Mamet play last month. That experience was so good, we looked to see what else the group offered. "Three Days" was equally as good; we will continue the trek to Redwood City. Thank you, goldstar, for the introduction to this venue.

Since this location is in the center of the downtown's "theatre district", there are many culinary choices to select, all within easy strolling distance. If you've already eaten, there are many choices for your enjoyment at the theatre, and you can enjoy them at your seats!

Directly across the street from the theater is a five guys hamburger restaurant. I had never had a five guys and it was fantastic.

At the concession stand, cookies are $2 each. They should be $1. I'm willing to pay a 100% mark-up, but I won't pay a 300% mark-up.

The theater is very intimate, so every seat is good. It is also in a fun part of town, so plan to get there a few hours ahead of time to hang out, eat and shop. Enjoy!
