We went from a downtown appointment to the play, with time in between for lunch. In driving around St. Paul we couldn't seem to locate anything, so we went to the showboat and got tickets. We headed to Josephs which is excellent close by. However, at the other end of that strip is a place called the Wabasha Deli. It was great. Prices very reasonable and the friendliest and most helpful staff there. We will certainly go back. We also saw they had a wonderful private dining area if anyone goes with a group of people.
The weather was sunny, windy, etc.. I wore a sweater, flip-flops, etc..
I was told, if you are part of a large group, you can opt for a buffet dinner before the show but this is not an option for an individual or a small group. There is a concession stand for drinks and popcorn. You can bring your drinks inside the theatre.
