About City of Salt Lake City
Nestled between the Great Salt Lake and the Wasatch Mountains, Salt Lake City offers a beautiful mix of a vibrant modern city steeped in history and surrounded by nature. It’s just a short drive to get your outdoors fix, with great skiing in the winter and hiking and climbing the rest of the year. Then you can return to the city to enjoy its many highlights. In Temple Square, headquarters of the Mormon Church, you’ll find the 19th-century Salt Lake Temple and the Tabernacle, where you can catch a performance by the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Families will have a blast recreating pioneer life at the This Is The Place Heritage Park. The city is home to a number of museums, like the Clark Planetarium and the Natural History Museum of Utah, in addition to hosting tons of festivals for all interests. Plus, Salt Lake City has one of the best public transportation systems in the country, so you can get around with ease.
Participants under age 18 will need a teammate over age 18. Race will happen rain or shine.
