About Kingsbury Hall Performing Arts Center
Kingsbury Hall is the performing arts center on the University of Utah campus. Since the venue opened its doors in 1932, many of the world’s most well-known and well-respected artists, performing groups, politicians and world leaders have graced its stage. Many local performing companies, including Utah Symphony, Utah Opera, Ririe Woodbury, Ballet West and Repertory Dance Theatre all got their start at Kingsbury Hall. Located on the U’s historic President’s Circle, the venue’s grounds include the gold-accented Nancy Peery Marriott Auditorium and the seasonal gardens of the Gail & Eva Plummer Outdoor Plaza. On any given day, you can catch a TED Talk, see a Tony-winning stage legend in action, or screen a critically-acclaimed film.
