We went the The Grant Grill to park ($15) and had a light meal in the bar during their happy hour. It was a quick 2 block walk to the theatre from there, and the hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays!

Spreckle's has underground valet parking for $10. If you can find treat parking, that's probably better.

Be aware that the theater is not set up for even mildly disables persons for any where except the orchestra seats. You must let Goldstar know in advance if you cannot climb stairs or if you have a problem with steeply pitched balconies. That said, they are very very accommodating when you do give them warning.

Be aware that parking in the Spreckles lot is by valet once you enter, so if you do not want to surrender your keys, park elsewhere. The valets are extremely good at quickly moving out the cars after the show.

The weather was comfortable with no rain.. I wore a long skirt and a dressy top. People still go to the ballet with "class"..

Try to get orchestra or an aisle seat if in mezzanine or balcony. The seats up are very close to the next row, cramped and uncomfortable.

The website for the venue, Spreckles Theatre) notes that valet parking is available. Well, parking in the building is a flat $22; across the street in the NBC building, covered parking is $10. Caveat emptor.

Share anything else here. Just start typing...Parking at the underground theater locaton is ok when parking, but getting your car after the show is a very, VERY long, process... Not worth the price and waiting time. It would be more efficient to walk fix blocks than wait the hour or so to get your car...

We parked at Horton Plaza and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Nordstrom's Cafe where we got our parking ticket validated for 3 hrs. It is a short walk to Spreckel's theater from there.
