Rows are very close together so if you are tall try for an aisle seat.
Balcony steps are a little steep...but the only tickets available...and little leg room...so try for other seats...
There is a place that sell pizza by the slice right across the street that is fast. I got a delicious falafel and sweet potato fries there. Fast and convenient.
We like the Daily Grill - a lot of good choices at fairly reasonable prices for SF and always good service....
We had a wonderful meal at the Grand Café in hotel Monaco and then walked to the theater. Interesting dishes and unusual flavors.
Millenium on Jones and Geary is fantastic for vegans/vegetarians, although pricey.
Mapquest will say that "you've arrived" at your destination a few blocks too early. Park at the Union Square Garage and walk one block to the theater. We finished it off with dinner at Lori's Diner and listened to the fans greeting the actors at the back door exit. So fun!
Parking is easy at the Mason/O'Farrell Garage. They have a "Theater Special" for the evening for $12. It's just 1 block up Mason and 1/4 block up Geary to the theater!
the ACT theater acoustics are weak: mercifully, the free headset system realistically amplifies the stage: it is superb! do not hesitate to use it.
Eat inthe Bloomingdale's Food Court at 5th and Market - lots of options - for an inespensive dinner beforehand.
