Go early and park free on the street
It is fisherman's wharf..touristy henc e can't resist the clam chowder.
BART and F Train the only way to go
Took the boys to the Rainforst and they had a great and the food was good
Ate at Bubba Gump-- it was pricey for food, but the corona margarita was great.
The streetcar is cheap and fun!

If it is nice weather, it is good to walk..only take 20mins from Embarcadero.

Took BART from the East Bay to Embarcadero stationand walked
Validated parking for 2 hrs if you dine in any Pier 39 restaurants
We took Muni no problem the F stops right out front
There is a snack bar but food is everywhere at Pier 39 we made it a day and ate Lunch out
Impossible to find restaurant with less than hour wait for lunch.
We took the ferry and walked to the aquarium, enjoying the sights and exercise along the way
Pier Market's chowder is yummy
We took BART and the F Car easy to find. Much cheaper than driving ie: gas, toll, parking
