We rode the BART in and took the Muni. Parking is very expensive and hard to find on a weekday.
Drive during the week, catch Bart on the weekends.
Drove paid 12 bucks for 4 hours, should have paid $15.00 dollars for all day parking.
Ate lunch at Bubba Gump, reasonable prices.
Windy, but warm, bring light jacket, this is SF.
Bring $dollars to tip the musicians and mimes for added enjoyment.
Take time to see the many sea lions on the Pier 39 rafts, just north of the Aquarium.
Fisherman's Wharf is within walking distance
Park at one of the $15.00 all day lots. Validations can only be gotten at full service restaurants
Ate at Wipeout, which was cheaper than others, but still on the expensive side.
I took the Ferry from Oakland. GREAT way to go
Ate at Wideout. Pier 39 Burgers were great
Park at Northpoint Shopping Ctr and get validated, but $5 over 1.5 hrs
You can take the 47 Bus and just walk a few blocks to the Pier.
Walk or take public transportation, parking is difficult to finde bart to the f car
Parking across the street is expensive at $7 per hour.
Clam chowder really hit the spot especially on cold, rainy days.
San Francisco can be cold especially since you'll be next to the ocean.
Plan on eating lunch at one of the near by resturant and get 3 hrs free parking
