Take public transit or a cab. It's in a sketchy part of town. Be wary. The theater itself is intimate but modern.
Take a lift...walking from the bus was a little scary.
The weather was windy and cool.. I wore boots, slacks and a hoodie..
I wore layers, which was fortunare because it got quite hot after a while, but not a problem since I could peel off my sweater..
Not a neighborhood you want to be walking around in after dark, so drive or take a cab.

Dine out of this area unless you like Subway, which is next door.
As mentioned in review, the house allows, even encourages, your import of food and drink. One superb place to dine or take out less than a block away is "Miss Saigon" Vietnamese on the SW corner of Mission and 6th St. Exquisitely prepared fresh food at the very best of prices in a pleasant and welcoming setting.

You can lock your bike inside. Not the safest area, but there are no problems.
