We ate downstairs in the Metreon at FIrewood. Fast, good food and cheap - perfect!
Gilbert & Sullivan’s Iolanthe
We went to Mel's Diner for a great lunch before the matinee, then Papa Beard's for dessert.
Parked near 24th St. to take the #14 bus right there---avoiding all expensive parking problems.
Liked the fact that people could feel comfortable dressing up or dressing down.
Very near the Press Club, a great place for a nice glass of wine before the event.
Lunch at the Palace is great for a special occasion like the Christmas season.
The W hotel across the street good for drinks afterwards, but loud.
Ate at Le Charm on 5th Street. A very good value for $30 fixed price.
La Folie was a fantastic follow-up to the Smuin ballet performance
Becomfortable, but could be a little dressy, for a little "glitz" of the season
We took the Larkspur Ferry, arrived at the Ferry Building, then walked to the Yerba Buena center.
