The Rambler at 545 Post was great. The cocktails and wines are good. The PEI mussels with chorizo are delicious, the short ribs were fork tender and seasoned quite well and the sea bass melted in your mouth. The service was good as well. Will definitely return.
Park under Union Square on Post St side. Easy one block walk. $2 per hour fee. Or five blocks from BART powell st
Be prepared to be bombarded by homeless beggars.
Park at City garage at Stockton/ Sutter after 6:00 pm cost $4.50 during the show.
There is an elevator to 2nd floor, slow but works. On that night the sign was posted to wrong direction and there was mentally distressed guest blocking off the service. I wish the theater management places volunteer at the entrance.
Grab a Lyft - parking in rare, though Stockton-Sutter garage is pretty close and pretty cheap after 6pm at $1.50/hr. Lots of nearby dining and drinking options before and after...

Custom-Made theatre is on the top floor of the Sheldon Theatre building. There's a big marquee but it's exclusively for the Sheldon's shows. Enter at ground level, ignore the ticket booth, pass the stairs down, pass the ground level theatre entrance, and go up the stairs to find Custom Made.
Elevator, wheelchair accessible available. Prepare to walk up steep flight of stairs to get to your seats. Small venue, so All seats appear to offer good view of performance.
Six Degrees of Separation
Delicious, clean diner across the street, Lori's Diner. Starbucks also within minutes of theater. Light snacks, candy and beverages are available for purchase before play. No intermission. 90 minute play. Bathrooms are clean and on same floor as Stage play.

There probably was an elevator somewhere, but I was directed to walk up a steep flight of stairs to the theatre, so keep that in mind, since there are several theaters here, some on main floor, some downstairs, and some upstairs.
#2 & #3 Muni stop right across the street. Don't attempt to bring a car to this very busy neighborhood!
We usually take public transit but since there were four of us, we drove and parked at the Sutter Stockton garage -- a short walk away.
